FirstHx Welcomes Dr. Mohamed Alrayyes as the Regional Clinical Executive MEA

We are excited to welcome Dr. Mohamed Alrayyes to FirstHx as the Regional Clinical Executive MEA.

Mohamed has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, as an executive, informatics leader, and clinician. He has a successful track record of establishing clinical informatics operations and leading outcome-driven, digital transformation programs across the Middle East and Africa. His programs won international awards for his partners and clients, and reshaped the experiences of clinicians and patients, alike. Over the years, he significantly contributed to the regional dissemination of health information technologies, and supported vendors’ generation of hundreds of millions of USD revenue.

Mohamed joins FirstHx on a part-time basis from a UAE health information platform vendor, where he assumed the role of Vice President of Clinical Care and Client Success. Prior to that, he acted as the Chief Medical Information Officer for Cerner Corporation in the MEA region. He is an avid supporter of healthcare technology start-ups and continues to act in an advisory capacity for several, globally.

Mohamed is an ENT surgeon by background, received his clinical training in affiliation with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and holds an Executive MBA with Distinction from Strathclyde Business School in the United Kingdom.
